What is Invisalign?

Invisalign is a clear aligner system that moves your teeth into place quickly and effectively.

Invisalign is a Clear Choice

Dr. Lawless creates a treatment plan using software, which is based on a 3D digital scan of your mouth. Based on this treatment plan, the aligners are generated. Each aligner will move your teeth a little further into place, up until the final placement is achieved. The aligners perfectly fit your teeth, which allows them to be truly invisible. Even those who are closest to you will have no idea you are wearing them.

Invisalign is a Convenient Choice

While the invisibility of Invisalign is often what draws people in, we think the best part of the system is the minimal impact it has on your day to day life. Eating is easy because you can remove your aligners, so you do not need to change your diet. Brushing and flossing are also simple due to the ability to remove the aligners. Since you swap out the aligners on your own, you only need to see us every six to eight weeks, making Invisalign great for your schedule.

Invisalign is a Comfortable Choice

Invisalign aligners are made from smooth medical-grade plastic. This means there are no sharp edges to cause discomfort. When you combine this with the emotional comfort you feel when you have discreet and convenient treatment, it comes together to make one of the best forms of orthodontic treatment on the market.

Are you convinced that Invisalign is a great option for you? Then it is time to find out if your alignment problems can be treated with the system. Give us a call to schedule your consultation today.

Cost of Invisalign

The cost of Invisalign can vary based on the amount of treatment required for your ideal smile outcome. Here is just one example from a patient that came in for a free consultation.

Susanne came into Lawless Orthodontics for an Invisalign consultation.

  • Treatment: Invisalign

  • Total Investment: $5,600

  • Insurance Contribution: $1,500

  • Initial Payment: 2 Installments of $500

  • Monthly Payments: $129/mo for 24 months

Susanne’s total investment for 24 months of Invisalign treatment is $5,600. Her dental insurance contributed $1,500 which leaves her responsible for $4,100. She chose an initial payment of $500, and paid $500 more when her aligners were delivered 4 weeks later. To keep her monthly cost low, Susanne took advantage of the in-house interest-free financing for 24 months. Susanne is paying $129 monthly, auto-drafted through her checking account. Invisalign FAQs

Am I a candidate for Invisalign?

Invisalign treatment has come a long way over the past several years. Even if you have been told you were not a candidate, we encourage you to schedule a complimentary exam for a second opinion! While not everyone is a candidate for Invisalign, it’s now more possible than ever to take advantage of the treatment!

How does Invisalign work?

When you begin your Invisalign treatment you will receive several sets of custom fit aligners. Each set of aligners is worn for only one week. After one week, you can switch your aligners with the next set and continue straightening your teeth. Over time you will notice changes in the alignment of your teeth and in just a few months you will have a straighter, healthier smile!

How much does Invisalign cost?

There are many factors that determine the cost of your Invisalign treatment: how extensive the issues are that you want corrected, how long your treatment plan will last, and the specific treatment details prescribed by Dr. Jay Lawless.

We strive to make Invisalign affordable to everyone. You can get a beautiful, healthy and straight smile for as low as your monthly cell phone bill!

If your dental plan covers orthodontic treatment, you may also qualify for Invisalign. Talk to your insurance provider to determine the extent of coverage for your treatment. To schedule a free consultation to determine if Invisalign is right for you, contact us today!

Does my insurance cover Invisalign?

Adults are great candidates for orthodontic treatment. Many adults are candidates for Invisalign. To see if you are a good candidate for Invisalign treatment, schedule a complimentary (yes free!) smile assessment. During this appointment, Dr. Lawless and his team will be able to provide you detailed information on Invisalign and other treatment options if treatment is recommended.
